The Robotic Lab, led by Dr. Zahed Rahmati, is an integral part of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Amirkabir University of Technology. Our focus lies in pioneering advancements in autonomous systems and robotics technology. Currently, our efforts are directed towards the development of a self-driving car system, utilizing the AVIS Engine simulator to simulate both urban and race environments. Leveraging image processing techniques with OpenCV and NumPy in Python, we are actively implementing cutting-edge solutions to enhance the capabilities of our autonomous vehicles. Moreover, we are diligently preparing for the FIRA competition in Iran, with aspirations to extend our reach to international competitions in the forthcoming year. Through our interdisciplinary approach and dedication to innovation, we strive to push the boundaries of robotics research and contribute to the global advancement of autonomous systems.
